Robots/Parts/Software
AimDK
AgiBot's developer kit for programming the X2 humanoid. It gives developers ready-made controls in Python and C++ for moving the robot, reading its sensors, talking and checking its status, plus examples for testing moves in a simulator first. Only the X2 Ultra supports this kind of development; the cheaper X2 Neo does not.

Strengths and trade-offs
Our analysisStrengths
Works in both Python and C++.
Built on ROS 2, which robot engineers already know.
Simulation examples let developers try moves before using the real robot.
Detailed public documentation.
Trade-offs
Only the X2 Ultra can be programmed with it.
The kit version has to match the robot's software version.
Some access, such as logging in to the robot, needs AgiBot's support team.
Why robot makers choose it
Our readUniversities and companies buying a humanoid want to write their own programs for it. A developer kit with familiar languages and simulation examples makes the X2 Ultra easier to choose for research and teaching.
This is our reasoning from the public facts. No maker has confirmed it.
Robots using it
This list covers only the robots researched so far. A robot missing here may still use this part.
