Robots/Parts/AI model
GO-1
AgiBot's general-purpose AI model for robot arms and hands, announced in March 2025. It takes camera pictures and an instruction and puts out movements. Its trick is a middle step: before deciding exact joint movements, it first predicts a rough plan of the action, learned partly from videos of people and other robots. AgiBot trained it on its AgiBot World collection of more than a million real robot demonstrations, and released it for free download in September 2025.

The model and code are free to download under a Creative Commons non-commercial licence. AgiBot's guide says running it needs a graphics card with about 7 GB of memory, and retraining the whole model needs about 70 GB.

Strengths and trade-offs
Our analysisStrengths
Can learn from videos of people, not only from robot recordings.
Needs only a small number of examples to pick up a new task, according to AgiBot.
Free to download and try.
Small enough to run on a single good graphics card.
Trade-offs
The free version cannot be used in a product that is sold.
Still needs fine-tuning with demonstrations on each new robot and task.
Most of the claims about how well it works come from AgiBot itself.
Why robot makers choose it
Our readTeaching a robot every task by hand does not scale. A model trained on a huge pile of robot and human demonstrations gives a head start on new jobs, and AgiBot built its own so it is not depending on another company for its robots' core skills.
This is our reasoning from the public facts. No maker has confirmed it.
Robots using it
This list covers only the robots researched so far. A robot missing here may still use this part.
