SICK multiScan165
A 3D laser scanner from SICK, a German industrial sensor company. Sixteen scan layers spin round to map everything around it out to 62 metres, and it is sealed for outdoor and wash-down use. Boston Dynamics' spec sheet for the EAP 2 add-on kit for the Boston Dynamics Spot, updated in October 2026, names it as the kit's lidar, in place of the Velodyne VLP-16 the sheet named before.
