Robots/Parts/AI model
Co-Agent
UBTech's AI agent for its factory humanoids. Rather than following a fixed script, it works out what a worker wants, breaks the job into steps, picks the tools to use and notices when something goes wrong so it can deal with it. UBTech pairs it with BrainNet, its system for coordinating groups of robots on a production line, and calls the Walker S2 the first industrial humanoid to carry it. UBTech has not published how it is built.

Strengths and trade-offs
Our analysisStrengths
Lets the robot handle a goal, not just a list of fixed moves.
Built to notice when something goes wrong and recover without a person.
Designed alongside UBTech's own hardware and fleet software.
Trade-offs
Almost nothing about how it works has been published.
Only available on UBTech robots.
No independent tests show how reliable it is on a real production line.
"World's first" is UBTech's own marketing claim.
Why robot makers choose it
Our readFactory customers want robots that can be given a job and left to get on with it, including when parts are missing or out of place. Building its own agent lets UBTech tune that behaviour for the factories it sells into and keep it tied to its own robots.
This is our reasoning from the public facts. No maker has confirmed it.
Robots using it
This list covers only the robots researched so far. A robot missing here may still use this part.
