Robots/Parts/Software
Booster Studio
Booster Robotics' own desktop program for building robot skills from start to finish. Developers write code, with help from built-in AI, test it in a physics simulator, watch the robot's camera and sensor data, and then send the same code to a real robot with one click. Booster says the T2 is built on it.

Strengths and trade-offs
Our analysisStrengths
Coding, simulation and testing on the real robot in one program.
The same code runs in the simulator and on the robot.
Works on Mac, Windows and Linux, unlike many robot tools that need Linux.
Built-in AI help with writing code.
Trade-offs
Made for Booster robots.
Little public documentation so far.
Simulated results never match the real world exactly.
No published price or licence terms.
Why robot makers choose it
Our readBuilding a robot skill usually means juggling separate tools for coding, simulation and testing. One program that does all three, and moves code to the robot in one step, makes Booster's robots quicker for developers and students to work with.
This is our reasoning from the public facts. No maker has confirmed it.
Robots using it
This list covers only the robots researched so far. A robot missing here may still use this part.
